aiyoh!!! pls don't send your cat for post mortem to UPM. my sister work there as one of the lecturer. what they did was, they will send the student to do the post mortem as part of their practical training.the next thing you know, your cat dah kena penggal mcm datuk mazlan (yg kena penggal dgn mona fendy tu). penggal takpe but your cat jadi guinea pig, my friend. I will never let my cat become their guinea pig. when they are dead.then they are dead.tak naklah badan durang suma kena korek, isi perut suma dikasih kuar.

I was just thinking that.. if anything to happen suddenly to any one of my galz I would like to know the cause of it rather than just accept it.
Of course I dont want the vet to mishandle the body just do it neatly I hope.

I had a post-mortem done on my cat a long time ago when I found it dead upon my arrival home with bleeding from its mouth and no visible wounds. Through the post-mortem, I knew that it died as a result of a freak accident which happened when it had gotten its hind leg trapped between the wires on top of the uncovered cage (dulu sebelum I understood the importance of covering the top and other other potential danger points completely so as to prevent freak accidents from happening).

Bila kaki dia dah termasuk di celah wire, my cat panicked and desperately tried to free itself, swinging and thrashing its body about and hit its chest against a part of the cage, rupturing a major blood vessel in its chest and puncturing part of its lungs in the process. Blood entered and filled its lungs and he suffocated, blood oozed out of its mouth.

Its leg that was caught between wire had its muscle badlyl torn at the thigh.

The post-mortem prevented future deaths and injuries of my other cats because I understood enough to take necessary precautions after that. Freak accidents jarang berlaku, tapi they do and can happen. Better be safe than be sorry, and post-mortems are necessary for me to learn what happened so that I can do something to prevent or take precautions for the sake of my other beloved cats.

totally dont send ur cat to UPM,they dont take their patient seriously, maybe becoz they only have contract doctor, and u will regret if u send ur cat there, especially if they have penyakit susah kencing.
