i'm sorry to hear about your loss...hang in there and thank you for your courage to share the story with us ...we were about to buy a kitty sold by the mentioned breeder but we changed our minds last minute as my housemate fell in love with another cat advertised by another breeder....hope we can learn our lesson from there so that this kind of thing wont happen again in future....your cleopatra is in a better place now...away from any harm and pain....may your hurt and sorrow fade away soon....stay strong n take care ...

Cleo was buried yesterday at 10pm in our house garden with the present of all my family members .

Thank you for all the support . We still have lovely Mr Heri with us . Heri acted wierdly ..mayb he too kindda miss Cleo .

Feline panleukopenia(FPL), sometimes called feline distemper, is common and can affect cats of any age. It's almost impossible to prevent exposure, so all cats should be vaccinated.

The FPL virus can affect many parts of a cat's body, causing fever, appetite loss, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, weakness, tremors, and incoodination. Death can occur within a week. Three-fourths of the kittens that get FPL die; about half of the older infect cats die.

FPL vaccination should be given at 6 to 12 weeks of age and again every year. Kittens less than 12 month old are given two to three doses several weeks apart.

Failure to vaccinate our kitten properly may end up in in death of our beloved kitten/cat .

this is not uncommon disease for any animal that bred and lived life in pet shops. I always read this type of disease over in puppy.com.my
