Fallen victims of Feline Panleukopenia



This is the first and the last family picture we took of them all.

On the last 28th February, Pearl shocked me and my gf showing weakening signs. We rush her to a vet. But at the end of the day, we lost him. Poor guy. He might had suffer from a high fever...but we never had any idea where it came from. On the 29th. Bb and Stokin, the oldest among all them, their big brother and sister, suffer from the same fate. But, even more worst, they are vomitting yellow substance, showing that they had been craving for food..but the bowl is never left empty. Early that morning, we rushed to the nearest vet. Shots are given, but not long after that they grew weaker. I had to go to work, but when I've just reached my office, my gf sms about Bb and Stokin are gone. I can't get hold of myself and ran to the washroom and locking myself inside, crying all my heart thinking of what I did wrong.

Day by day passes one by one kitten left us.We were left unspoken and still thoughtless, until last night, we lost the last kitten Jack.

Even there is like no hope, we had brought every one of them to the vet, spent more than hundreds just to have that glimpse of hope that maybe we can save them. No explanation can be given, they only gave us antibiotics and supplements.

Every day we both are stayed up until late 3 am just to pamper everyone of them until their last breath. We know, not much we can do,than to just comfort and aid them with supplements to let them know that we are not taking them for granted. Tears keeps on falling as we see them struggling for their lives, till their last breath.

Until today and till the end of time, we will still remember them as they were, playful, notty and the best family member we have ever had. And we want them to know that there's always a special place in our heart for them.

Now, my car porch is not as lively as last 6 months. Life will never be the same. Empty cages and quiet surrounding brings us to tear, remembering that every day we have to bare a heavy burden in our heart.



Stokin, Bb, Pearl, Chelsea, Comot, Si Oren, Ginger and Jack....we miss you all. Till we meet again at the rainbow's bridge. We are sorry that all you have to bare so much pain living in our care. Do forgive us..

Am I missing something here?? ALL your cats died because of the virus?? Must be contagious. Adoi!!! kesiannya you. How can this happened to all the cats?? Banyak2 sabar ye.Maybe you can start adopting another cat yg byk kat jalanan yg memerlukan our TLC

Will do, all of them were stray cats suffering from mange last time. During then we manage to save them and learned that there's a shot to cure it instantly.

Even now also if my gf sees a cat that looks like the one we lost, she shed tears saying how she misses them very much. It is too sad to watch and I promised to get her a new one from a shelter..but there's no animal shelter in Miri. No SPCA or PAWS. So, maybe with luck we will stumble upon some really unfortunate cats or kittens, then with open heart we will give them a home.

But until then, we need to clean the car porch area just to be safe. We dont want to experience the same thing all over again. And thank you all for your word of support...we really appreciate it

Why don't you contact Kitty Poo? She is from Kuching and she has many strays for adoption. I know Miri is quite far from Kuching but maybe you can take a leisure drive during the weekend and take a look at the babies for adoption.

That was my original idea, also there are SPCA in Kuching, I thought of dropping by and maybe donate some cat food or even buy them something from their wish list. As far for Kitty Poo, I saw her ads, selling nice stuffs at lelong.com.my , I would like to drop by and buy something for my new kittens

Wish u were in KL. I saw 6 kittens with nice colour inside 7E nearby my place. Pity the kittens. The ibu kucing ialah strays. I wonder apalah nasib anak2 dia.I think the kittens is abt 3 weeks old. The 7E girl will take 2 kittens,that will be left 4 more. I think this weekend I will go there take the kittens pics to give out for adoption when they are old enough. All the kittens are orange with white stripe.1 kitten is calico.geram aku tengok.cute sgt.

Wish that I could be in KL, I heard about the cheap prices of services and items for pets and lots of unfortunate cats at PAWS and even SPCA that needed a home. Lots of them are very adorable too! My gf saw Selangor SPCA website and stumbled into lots of adorable adoption kittens. She thought of getting them send her by courier service, and so did I. Anyways, we both are going for a kitten and cat hunt around the city, mostly around commercial areas. Hope we can find some needy cat to give home to.
