It took me courage to write this as the pain still hurts. A short poem specially dedicated to Georgio and Ling Ling. Though you are gone but you will always be in my heart!

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else could fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.

Yes.. you are right catalina. Georgio died of FIP. Apparently he already had FIP when I adopted him. I managed only to love Georgio for a period of 2 months I sincerely hope during that two short months I had given him all my love and attention. I miss him so much! No words can express how I feel.

Really sorry to hear about your lost. Again, life is never fair but in the end, it shows how to never take great things like them as granted. As said in a song..
